At A Taste of Dreams we have one goal in life, and that is to deliver cakes and bakes for all dietary requirements without ever compromising on taste. So how do we do this so successfully?
We start by getting the recipe right. Leading development is our Head Baker Mathew, who as a fourth generation baker has product quality in his DNA. His ethos is simple: - “There is no excuse for anyone, regardless of their needs, to be denied great quality cake. My mission is to create recipes that everyone will enjoy, whilst debunking the cynicism surrounding free-from goods.”
Then we source the best ingredients. Building a bake is like anything else, the better the materials, the better the result. For example, we personally inspect the free-range flock that supplies our eggs, only a few miles from our bakery. We use premium Belgian chocolate, and where possible organic fruit and vegetables. Our bakery sits over a natural spring, supplying all our water.
Perhaps what is most important is what we leave out – artificial colourings, flavourings, preservatives, stabilisers, sweeteners, E numbers… We firmly believe in “You are what you eat”.
Baking, decorating and packaging by hand promotes superb consistency whilst retaining authenticity in product presentation. The care and attention we lavish on every bake ensures you and your customers will demand A Taste of Dreams every time.
Lastly, we take our impact on the environment seriously. From recycling, through the use of 100% biodegradable packaging, to promotion of a cycle-to-work scheme. We are above all an ethical company, with a commitment to trading responsibly, paying a living wage and providing our staff, customers and consumers with nothing but the very best.
